Project 65 have raised enough money to erect a new memorial alongside Pegasus Bridge in Normandy, that was captured by the men borne in the6 gliders that crash-landed in France soon after midnight on 6 June 1944. This memorial will include the names of the 30 Sappers who were distributed among the gliders. As part of their fund raising activities, Project 65 are staging 4 theatrical evenings, with a narration by an accomplished actor telling the story of the coup-de-main operation.
